About The House

Sandown Lodge is an 18th century Georgian house, built around 1865 and has been operating as a guesthouse for 11 years. The owners live on the property and delight in engaging with the guests making for a personal and homely environment.

We are committed to providing friendly, warm hospitality to ensure every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our loyal repeat guests and regular customers are a testament to our welcoming service, professionalism, and our convenient location.

We can accommodate up to 12 guests at a time and have a lovely outside area for relaxing and entertaining in.
